About Us
We are a mostly-California based collection of friends who 1) share a common love for College Basketball (March Madness!), and 2) are determined to make a positive difference in High School math education. Some of us teach, some parent, some volunteer time - all help kids!
As of March 2010, we have begun the arduous process of formally becoming a 501(c)(3) Educational Nonprofit -a process we expect will take up considerable time to complete over our teacher allotted summer break. We are currently accepting donations for our newly-launched Marchpool scholarship fund. Our intent is completion of this legal process within the 2010 tax year.
We are thankful to all assistance we have received to date from everyone involved in our iniatives. From our annual Marchpool contestants, to our educational volunteers, and to our future members and contributors - your efforts and positive energy continue to make a difference with kids.
